Hi,

Wasn't sure if this should be in the Legal forum or the consumer one.

My question is simple: If I buy goods on the internet from somebody outside of the EU, what are my rights regarding the contract made between us?

Do I follow Council Directive 1997/7/EC on Distance Selling? Or do I abide by the consumer laws of the country I'm buying from?
