Does anyone know where I might be able to get the Irish Press? I know one can get old news papers online, but I'm looking to buy this paper.

I've checked http://www.irishnewsarchive.com/ and www.memorablemoments.ie/ but they are not doing it yet.

I've gottend pictures taken of one in NUIGalway for the dates I need but they are not going to be as good as a newspaper replica.

Its a birthday present for someone in their 50's of the day they were born.

There was a question before about this if you want to search, I came across them about 13 years ago in a library near the south quays but couldn't tell you exactly where.

Try the national library, they may have copies on micro (ring first!)

Does anyone know where the Irish Press photograph archive would be now?

I believe that its still owned by the 'Irish Press' - or the parent company that didn't go tits up. They also own another publications "Thom's Directories" so the parent company s alive an well and probably is the ultimate owner of the archive copyright.

    However - the physical products (negative/plates) - that's a different thing.
