    Hi,

My knowledge of computers is very basic. I recently joined a guitar tutor site. In order to view the videos on this site, it's asking me to install "Quick Time" from Apple. I use Windows Vista. Is there any way I can view these videos without installing this. If not should I install it ? I've read the safety notes on this which says "only install if you trust the site". How can I "trust" a site I've just joined one hour ago

    Thanks in advance.

If unsure about the installers on that tutor site you can get an installer for Quick time / iTunes from Apple's website. As they are the people who actually develope it.

    http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/

There are some other "add on" programmes that would be able to play these files, but directly from the horses mouth could be an eaiser approach for ya!

    Drav!
