"Shooting sports" gave it a favourable review a little while back.

They also did a review of the top 8 semi's for tha April edition which ranked the X series in joint forth place, so it might be worth your while checking it out.

    1st Beretta Urika 2
    2st Benelli M2 Comfortec
    3rd Remington 1100 and 11-87
4th Browning Poenix and Winchester X3
    5th Fabarm H368
    6th Baikal MP-153
    7th Hatsan Escort

Thanks for that. I am seriously considering buying one. Have found one 2nd hand and fired it at a few clays the other nite. It fitted lovely and the action cycled thru perfectly. I also fired a Stoeger semi the same nite and altho it did what it was meant to it felt a bit rougher than the Winchester.

Does anyone have any experience of this shotgun ?

I had an X2 a few years back (was the fastest repeater on market at the time), shot clays, pigeons, geese in sub zero temperatures, light clay rounds to heavy magnum shells, all cycled flawlessly and still do, my friend bought it off me and it still works as well today. It was/is rarely cleaned.

    Highly recommended.
I've also had a Benelli Super 90 and Beretta 302 repeater, excellent also (a Lanber too, not so recommened).

    Enjoy, whatever you buy!!
