They should be banned for bringing the game into disrepute and tarnishing the name of gerard McCarthy. They have acted like spoiled kids the sort of behaviour i would expect of Roy and Robbie Keane the sort of sportsmen GAA people always say is not welcome in their game

but wouldn't you agree that when 30 of the 08 squad and a considerable amount of the next best players all refusing to play under ger mac that there was a serious problem going on within the cork county board

Thats the sort of crap I cant stand from GAA supporters.

They seem to think to have some sort of moral "holier than thou" superiority over other sports particularly soccer which is complete horse ****..but thats another days argument.

The Cork County Board have been a disgrace throughout and should be immediately resign...by appointing Gerald McCarthy they knew damn well that this would provoke a reaction but they went ahead anyway detemined to pick a fight and wrestle back preceived power/lost face after last year.

Thats what this was all about..completely self serving actions by the County Board and I cannot believe Gerald Mc allowed himself to be the pawn in their petty game..this was never going to end any other way.

Frank Murphy is the problem and he needs to go..been there far too long. I mean this is the 4th Cork player unrest under his tenure and he is still there...now who should be banned..

Yes and the 97-98% of club members who voted to back the players should be throw out of the GAA too. Get a grip man.

well sure we'll just have to wait and see, but i have no doubt that if sensible just and democratic people are put in place on the CCB then there shouldn't be a problem

just a reminder to all - Blackbelt is in banning mood.

this might be a valid topic - the suggustion that the GAA could Ban the Cork players.

However I suspect this is actually this a Troll/flame fest. Im going to consult the other Mods.

Are the other two threads not enough already.

The GAA doesn't have the power to "ban" players who don't break the rules.

 Why bring Dublin into the equation?! Everyone here knows debates about the Dubs are often the biggest discussion topics every year. Things are bad enough with people going overboard at the moment without throwing Dublin into the mix.

enough is enough -- LOCKED --

this is a flame / Troll fest.

@Zatman - Perhaps the next time you wish to start a thread you should be a bit more careful with your choice of words. I really cant tell if your flaming or not.

I think there was a valid discussion in here somewhere i.e. " Should the GAA take any action against the Cork players for their recent Strike ?" I know I would have an opinion on that !

if someone wants to open that can of worms ...feel free.
