Lets here it for more Yanks getting bashed by our favourite boxers , I am really beginning to like Carl Froch , he a pretty decent boxer and if he manages to beat taylor he will start getting pretty big fights over the next few years

I think this will be a seriously tough fight for him , he has defo power in those punches but taylor no slouch either

my heart says carl froch but head says taylor hmmmmm I think taylor might be too experienced and may have fought harder fights but I think Carl Froch would defo be the more hungrier out of the two , if that makes sense ?

    cya boys

I think this bout will be quality. Froch pascal was excellent entertainment. Hard to call really, Froch has the strenght to win and will probably make him go to war but Taylor has been in with the best. This will show if Froch is the real deal.

This is a real pick em fight for me, Froch clearly has enough power to hurt and stop Taylor, but the American will cause him problems with his speed and cagey(when needed) style of boxing.

What Froch will need to do is force his war of attrition style fight onto Taylor, who won't match Froch for power, chin, heart or stamina. Taylor may also struggle to motivate himself for a fight with Froch and although it is possible Froch will find himself outboxed in this I am willing to believe he'll get the better of Jermain and stop him late.

This would be a huge win for Froch and establish himself as a name on American soil.

With Allen Green and Carlos De Leon jnr matched on the undercard, the winner will probably get a nice high profile, easy win fight against the winner of that(Green).

I like Froch and he has heart and toughness; but Taylor is the better boxer and combo hitter and carries decent power.

He is overall the better tactician and if Froch is to win, I think a KO is his best chance.

He will not outbox Taylor. Speed will beat Froch and if Taylor prepares
and is 100 percent focused, I see him winning a deserved decision.

For all those interested and doing nothing at 2pm on Thursday:

UK Boxing: Froch to appear on the Bunce Boxing Hour; Swaby – I’ll test Furys Chin!
WBC world super-middleweight champion Carl Froch is making his Steve Bunce Boxing Hour studio debut at 2pm on Setanta Sports News this Thursday. ‘The Cobra’ is the latest big name to join Buncey on the show. Froch, 31, is preparing for the first defence of his world title. The Nottingham-born star squares up to America’s Jermain Taylor on April 25 at the Foxwoods Resort Casino in Mashantucket in Connecticut. Buncey said it was an absolute pleasure to welcome the big boy into the studio. He said:

“Carl is now in a great position. He won the title in, arguably, the best British fight of the year and has taken an unprecedented step by agreeing to an even harder and more impressive first defence.”

The thing about Froch is you could outbox him round after round and he's still capable of knocking you out at any moment because he'll just keep coming at you because he has a great chin. Taylor doesn't have the power to stop him.

So while Taylor will be ahead on points, Froch will land enough to hurt Taylor which will eventually lead to Froch winning by tko in round seven or eight
