does anyone know if the resting position of the wipers on a 2007 Merc C class can be adjusted or moved as mine seem to be sitting a little high on the screen since the snow lately.
think they might have been strained or moved during the snowfall.

    Thanks

The design of the linkages dictates the actual stroke of the wiper so in your case if the resting position has moved up the window slightly, the wiper would now be getting very close to the edge of the windscreen (at the drivers side pillar) when used. The wiper would perhaps even be running off the edge of the screen slightly. If this is the case, it would be simply a matter of moving the position of the wipers arms on the spindles and tightening in place. Some cars though have an additional park function which allows the wipers to "park" very low below the bonnet ine when fully switched off while sitting a little higher if on intermitttant wipe. If your car had this function, it could be that this is not happening when it should.
I would think though that you probably got snow below the wipers and caused them to move slightly on there spindles and a simple reposition might be the cure.
