Can anyone tell me if there is a website or other source that would give me detailed information for servicing a 2000 reg Renault Clio. I am not an expert with cars by any means and am just looking to learn as much as I can about servicing my car. Thanks

Get yourself a Haynes manual, most motor factors have these or order it online, http://www.haynes.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?catalogId=10001&storeId=10001&productId=13109&langId=-1.

Start off with simple jobs like changing the oil, oil filter, spark plugs, air filter, this is what your average service consists of and should be easily manageable. Volvoboy has a helpful thread on it here... http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2055422868

If you're asking the mileage and when it was last serviced then around 55,000 and serviced about a year ago or so, maybe 18 months.

id change oil and oil filter, air filter and spark plugs.
the only tricky ones there are the oil filter -hard to get at
air filter housing is a contrary sucker to get back together.best take out the whole unit .dont loose the rubber bands.
plugs are easy but dont overtighten them and dont let anything fall into the engine when you have them out.

then check when your timing belt was done last.
    check front pads for wear.
check rear shoes for wear-you will have to take the back wheels and drum.
check for leaks and drum and shoe wear.
best leave that to a mechanic as these are very tricky.
