    Can't believe I'm advertising them again this week: GSF carparts. Seems to be £68.50 + VAT in UK site for mech including the motor for W201.

    Have to correct you there I'm afraid, they have every part for all 190's. Think MB stock parts for all Mercedes up to 30 years old, one of the main reasons there's so many old Mercs going around. That and the fact that those from the 80's and early 90's were the last properly built Mercs, they'll outlast the more recent ones. Any decent motor factors should be able to get you one also.

    Parts are generally reasonably priced too, window motors can get expensive though, you'll find all the answers here: www.mercedes190.co.uk

    If its a rear window I'd just jam it closed inside the door and leave it that way unless you get a lot of back seat passengers.
