There is so much rubbish written about Muslims in general, but especially in After Hours on boards. The most recent examples trying to suggest that Islam supports the lashing of 75-year old women for talking to men, or that the 7-7 or 9-11 attacks were justified.

In order to clear up some general ignorance about Islam and Muslims I would like to answer any reasonable questions you may have. I am not an expert and don't claim to know all the answers but I will answer to the best of my abilitiy. If I don't know the answer I will ask some of my Muslim friends and get back to you.

BTW I am a 30 year Irish convert to Islam.

I appreciate what you're aiming for here but the relevant forum under Spirituality would be more appropriate I think: http://boards.ie/vbulletin/forumdisplay.php?f=571

If people want answers they will seek them out. If people want to remain ignorant and prejudiced, they can do that too.

Please feel free to report any posts which you find offensive.

    Thanks.
