    http://www.carzone.ie/search/Ford/Mondeo/3.0I-V6-/200840190274460/advert

    0-62 in 7.9seconds.
202bhp and 280 nm of torque.

    All that in a Mondeo?

Probably one of the most unsaleable cars in Ireland too, but besides that.

€16K is laughable, they have that car along time and at that price will have it for a long time to come. Probably as difficult to shift as an unregistered Alfa 156 GTA. :pac:

Saying that I would not mind having a little test drive.

3 litres and all they can get out of it is 202 Bhp? I would have expected more torque from that sort of displacement too. But I've always had a soft spot for Mondeos, pity the road tax is so punitive on that car though, otherwise it would be an interesting purchase.

I'd want money with the Focus. :p

If I was in the in the market for a 3.0 litre Mondeo it would have to be the ST220.

On a slightly separate note it looks like this 7 series put up quite a fight as it was being repossessed.

my pugeot 306 does 0-60 in 7.0 secs, 140mph & costs about 3.5K, and it looks like a 306, now thats a sleeper.
That mondeo is crap, 202bhp 16K, 1.5/2K annual Tax for a mondeo HA HA

If only the blind could drive, they would be in Foresters. Hits all the right check boxes but shape.

On sleepers, you can pick up Audi S4s for under £5k in the UK, VRT is about EUR1.2k. Remaps to 320bhp easy.

Apparently it's just a detuned version of the ST engine, so would a remap not help things along?

The ST diesel is 155bhp AFAIK.
