Does anyone know dog friendly campsites?

    We wouuld like to visit campsites once in a while when traveling around ireland. Anyone knows a few?

    I have a copy of the Irish Camping and Caravan guide booklet 2009, and the vast vast majority of all sites are "dog friendly", but always with the dogs on a lead. I'd say you'd be safe enough picking nearly anywhere.

    As Branioc says, most campsites are happy to take dogs. We usually give them a ring beforehand just to make sure.

    Just be careful of when you want to camp though, some of them won't allow dogs at all during July and August.
