Hello ,I've been trying to get away from shooters at the moment ,apart from playing UT3 again.
I've got Devil may cry 4 ,oblivion and heavenly sword.

Was going to get Prince of persia ,but not sure if there are lots more to choose from ?

the new prince of persia is not a hack/slash. there is very little fighting, it is mostly running and jumping. then when you do fight its pretty poor.

Thanks nedd ,that saved me a few quid.

I've been looking at X-Blades or overlord aswell ,but I haven't a clue tbh.

    How about Ninja Gaiden:Sigma?

Its a remake of first Ninja Gaiden from Xbox. Not sure how good it is but i really enjoyed Ninja Gaiden on the xbox. Was able to build up some massive combos.

I got it from an amazon reseller ,not all of them ship to Ireland though.
What I do if I want a game ,I add the same game to my basket from different sellers ,when you go to checkout there is always one that will deliver.
Just a matter of deleting the bogey ones and buying it.:)

I got a copy today off gameseek.co.uk. Seems to be not in print or shops aren't stocking it anymore.

Gameseek are good for hard to get games. I got Final Fantasy IX of them a year ago for €20-25 when ebay wanted €70+

EDIT: just checked and they are still selling copies of MGS and resident evil 1-3 for the psone

I'll give another +1 to "Viking: Battle for Asgard", a very underrated game imo. Sure the recruiting soldiers sections are a little drawn out, but the battles are epic in scale, it really needs to be played to be believed, there is a real sense that you are just one unit in a massive war machine marching forward. Plus there is something very visceral about his dual weapon hacking, you really feel each thud of his axe into the enemy.

Also, like others, if you haven't already, play through the previous God of Wars.

Also, the recent Prince of Persia trilogy is worth a run through if you haven't already.

Also I'd recommend these games for rent as you won't get any replayability out them, but a once through won't leave you dissapointed:

Heavenly Sword (nice use of the sixaxis in parts, some irritating QTE, and very short, still worth a play through once)
X-Blades (I played it for the articles :p)
Conan (it's good up until the ending, which is just irritating, but you'll pass it eventually)

Avoid the new Golden Axe: Beast Rider. It's terrible. Ask retr0, I'll play almost anything :pac: and couldn't even stick this game for more than 2 hours.
