    Hi all,

This is for a 2006 Honda Accord, someone tried forcing a CD into my CD player when there was already a CD in the drive...now it's broken, it ejected the CD that was inside, but won't take any more discs now.

Any ideas how much this will cost, it will have to go back to Honda right?
(just wondering before I ring them what to expect)

    Cheers

    Is it still under warranty???
You could always try getting it done through that if you plead ignorance to how it happened?

That wont work--Honda dont replace Cd players in that way.Theyre either sent off to be inspected before they`ll agree to replace under warranty or opened in the dealer to check for internal damage. This was due to a spate of coins found in cd players by kids.

If it was me Id drop the unit into one of the audio places like Scansounds in Phibsboro.Ted up there is usually quite good at repairing units.

A replacement Cd player for your model is 833.64 + vat.
