Just based on what I've been hearing lately I thought I'd do a poll here.

Late as in you're meant to meet up somewhere and they're between 5 and 15 minutes late. Not late as in oh-****-a-kid-in-a-recession-is-just-what-I-need.

As one who is frequently late, no... but i do text ahead to advise.

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

anything after 20 minutes is quite irritating, but depending on how the person is coming to me or where we are meeting i make exceptions, we do have a ****ty public transport system.

I couldnt give a fúck tbh. Worse things could happen to you. If you arent a total mentalist, you will allow for the unexpected.

Life is too short for falling out over such trivial things.

A friend once pointed out to me people were more punctual before mobile phones. It's true.

yes.. i'm one of those people who are always on time.
my boyfriend is always late, he'll tell me he's leaving and an hour or two later he'll arrive down. drives me mad.

You know what I hate it when people are not on time, Why say x if you really mean x plus 30 - it's ridiculous.

because there are factors that are out of their control?

i was stuck for 25 minutes on a bus today going nowhere, you think i could plan that into my time? if i could have done something about it i would but i couldn't.

luckily enough no one was waiting on me and if there was i would send a text or call.

Some people are consistantly late by the same aount of time each time CG, if you were to get stuck on a bus for 25 minutes every day youd factor that in when telling someone how long you'll be.

    He's cheating on you.

Yes it annoys me when my OH is late. When we started going out it was a long distance thing with us getting the bus up and down on alternating weekends. I never missed the bus I planned on getting once while she missed it at least once a month and failed to see why it bothered me. She seems to have this idea that the bus wouldn't leave without her and leave everything til the last minute before rushing to the bus stop and getting there as it pulled away.

I blame her ma on instilling this in her....I hate that woman.

of course some people are, but hopefully using some common sense would show you that person x is always late so don't believe them, i'm talking more of the once offs really.

i'll probably get eaten for this but its mostly women, face it girls theres reality time and then theres girl time, which is usually agreed meeting time +15 mins or so, my girlfriend is always late, it was kinda cute at first as in a "oh thats her alright" way but now its ****ing annoying, a few weeks ago she left me sitting in the car for the best part of 45 mins waiting for her when I got the text "be 2 mins" when I texted her to tell her i was nearly there, I was half tempted to just drive off but I didnt, **** whoever invented hair straighteners anyway

If whoever I'm waiting for texts or calls ahead and explains why they will be, no bother. On the other hand, if I'm left waitin on my own for ten minutes orr more, I do get rather irritated.
