    do you ever get emails sent to you by your lecturer that are intended for the whole class?

    my class one is: DT2284-list@student.dit.ie so i'd imagine your one would follow the same format.

    cool. see im a repeat student and cant access my student email anymore. it should work from the likes of gmail though?

    yes it's just an alias it will get delivered to all of your class provided that the address is valid.

    I'd like to use class mailing lists, just a quick question, in the example given:

    "DT2284-list@student.dit.ie" does the "4" refer to the year? i.e. fourth year students.

    I'd appreciate any help with this, Thanks

    Yes, the number 4 does mean the year.

    Seriously guys, don't be giving this out, it's only gonna lead to spam. Possible delete posts time? I don't feel the need to report the posts, just maybe dicuss it.
