Hi there, My DVDR 3305 from Philips has developed any annoying problem and I'm just wondering if anyone can tell if it is terminal. When I insert a disc the screen will go blank once the dvd has reached its menu page. If I press 'ok' or 'play' the dvd will play and I can watch the movie without further problems. But this flaw makes it almost impossible to select anything other than the first item on the menu (because I can't see anything) and so with a series I find it difficult to see beyond the first episode, can;t see extras etc

Any advice is welcome
