    Brooklyn lager is 1 euro a bottle in the abbot ale house in Cork...and its in date and they have loads........a great beer for anyone who wants to branch out from the usual suspects and give the taste buds a nice going over....MMmm

    ps also loads of new us craft brews.

    My obriens have 5x500ml budvar bottles for €10. Also a bottle conditioned beer with a monk on the front 500mlx5 for €10 too. Can never remember the name, maybe frankenzheir or something like that! It is popular enough.

    Have to get that brooklyn stuff, it is on offer someplace in dublin too, beernut listed it, maybe deveneys

    Edit: yep BeerNut said Redmond's of Ranelagh and Deveney's of Dundrum

    Health warning: Redmond's are out. Could be worth phoning ahead any place you're thinking of trying (though there's always something worth buying in the good beer offies ;))

    Deveneys Rathmines most of the US IPA's, brooklyn, prohibition, etc etc....

    Had Brokklyn Larger in Brooklyn in Jan, lovely stuff. I suppose nobody knows if its availble in Cork.
