Hey, i was just wondering if has anyone had much experience with Sharewatch?

I phoned them this morning to see about opening an account. They said if I wanted to set up a phone account as opposed to an online account (chose phone over online as there was a €60 annual fee for the online option), I should transfer money into an account number and then ring them to complete the set up.

This seemed very strange but is this normal?

    Thanks in adavnce...

Whats strange about it, with any broker for sharetrading you have to setup a account and fund it before you trade.

I mean it's strange because I would be sending money into an account number given to me over the phone without any documents filled in, identification checks, emails, letters etc. It would be like me setting up a phone number where people ring me up, I tell them to put money into my account and ask them to contact me after. I then decide not to pick up the phone and then go off on holidays with the money! Do you see what I mean? Im probably being paranoid but it doesn't seem that professional and I just wanted to check here to see if others thought they were reliable.
