Kennels/Boarding for Puppy!?!

    Hi All,

I'd really really appreciate some advice!

I'm going on holiday on 21st March and need to find somebody to look after my little bichon for the week. Shes never been away from me for longer than a weekend and we have no experience of kennels.
Shes almost a year old and is very excitable and loves doing the "bichon blitz", lots of energy.

I really don't like the idea of putting her into kennels, especially if she'll be locked up in a cage... but my family arent in a position to look after her for longer than a weekend...

Can somebody please recommend a trustworthy kennel or even a person I could contact?
I want somebody to treat her as well as I do. The last thing I want is for her to be lonely/pining for me locked in a cage thinking I've abandoned her.

I'm based in Clonee and would be willing to travel anywhere once she'd be well looked after.
I've read all the posts here and its been helpful but would prefer personal recommendations as I trust my fellow boardies, rather than a blurb on a googlesearched kennel/boarding website!!

    thanks for your help!
    Kiya.
