It would seem that the markets are heading for a resolution in the next 10 days or so. Looking at the S&P currently at 678 , the are various support levels in the low 600's. When it turns you will get commodities up , gold down and the dollar down. If the S&P broke 600 in this run it would get real nasty but either way it would setup for a great rebound.
Some commentators are looking for a capitulation event like GM going into bankruptsy?

I can see some potential trading opportunities on a brief bounce but the bull market is over, dead and all the fundamentals point to at least another year or 2 of pain. You saw last weeks US non farm payrolls right?

Here is a chart I am looking at , once it lost the lower trend line I was pretty sure there was going to be some good downside action. The market is still looking for a capitulation. I'd like to see it go down to the 640ish, the insert is 1973/ 74 to find similar market conditions
Longer term you wont see the bottom until at PE ratios head down towards 7 but that is a couple of years off.
