Tips/Recommendations for getting a cleaner for house in Trim area

Hi - thinking about getting in a house-cleaner once a fortnight just to do cleaning, ironing... Anyone got any do's and don't tips...or any recommendations (Trim area). e.g. Do we let them have a key? Get someone in local paper or one of the company's that you can get online? Rgds, P
