Did anyone catch a glimpse of the starlings that were being talked about on the radio? An estimated 1/4 million of them (I wonder who counted) in the vicinity of Meath?

Didn't see them, but last year I saw heaps of them roosting on the Ivy at the Dingle Skellig Hotel. There was an absolute mass of them making a lot of noise, but they calmed down so we could sleep!
