Trying to find the VRT on an Audi A4 Avant, 2.0 TDi, 2006 from the UK.

I keep getting this error when I enter the details:
There were no vehicles matching your selections found. Please try again.

Don't think I'm entering anything incorrectly, and I'm sure I had this working a few weeks ago.

Any ideas anyone? It seems to accept the 1.9TDi engine, but I'm interested in the newer 2.0 diesel.

I'd say it's a fault with the site, you might be able to use it to your advantage though, if you were to buy the car and the problem wasn't rectified you might get away with cheaper VRT (probably not though..)

Here's a useful link anyway which shows all the figures for the car: http://www.parkers.co.uk/cars/specs/Detail.aspx?deriv=32988

Just a simple thing, but are you putting in 4 or 5 doors?

Tried both, neither work. It's something to do with the engine type I select. It gives me a quote when I select the 1.9TDi, or the 2.0TDi (from 2007), but not the 2.0TDi (from 2004) which is the one I want.

I've tried loads of variants and non seem to be working... Must be a fault with the site.

The saloon should be close enough, should it not?

Tried the saloon also, no joy. It's definitely something to do with the engine type. Problem is, the newer one (from 2007) I'm sure has lower CO2 emmissions, so probably doesn't give me an accurate reflection of what I'd have to pay. The older engine probably falls into a higher VRT bracket.

Might drop them an email about it.

    I had this problem also.

Seems that the people that manage this site did'nt feel the need to inform people that the database is being updated.I was getting a quote of 4000 euro for the vrt on my car up until monday 2nd of march but when i checked on thursday 5th march the price had gone down to 3300 euro,so i went to my local office to pay it and they told me that they could not evaluate the car because of a problem with the database, the wicked lady there gave me a cover letter for 7 days in case i get stopped by the garda

It's just incompatance by the civil service again, you are doing nothing wrong.

It's working again now today, just tried it there. Looks like they've reviewed the OMSPs also, as I'm certain the VRT quote is over €1k down on what I got a few weeks ago.
