Seeing as though it's her 1st birthday you will spend with her you should make it something to truly remember.

Depends of what you can afford, the helicopter flight could be special.

maybe just tickets to a comedy gig or something? It's only 3 months so nothing too over the top i'd say.

Are you nuts?! They're 19 and going out 3 months! Sarcasm I presume?!

I think that's a little OTT for a birthday after 3 months to be honest. What is your budget?

Get her a nice piece of jewellery, not too expensive, and not a ring. Don't wanna give her the wrong idea ;) A nice pendant or bracelet would be nice.

Handbags, earrings, a nice bracelet? Or a small gift and take her out to dinner somewhere nice and book a nice hotel as a treat?

If you go for jewelery dont get a watch if supersticious. How about a personalised card not too expensive but shows you went to alot of effort

hey Matty, take her off for the night, nice hotel (there cheap at the moment), nice dinner, just get her a small present, ipod shuffle or something like that, put a little mix of music on it for her....
the night in the hotel is a win win for you ; )

    Way too much too soon.

Get her a dozen roses, she'll appreciate them.

    definitly make her something.

some of my most treasured gifts from my OH are things he made me, strory telling cards, cd's, drawings, board games, photo collages and stuff like that!

make her something meaningful and maybe buy her a bottle of wine and chocolates and have a nice night where you make a fuss of her.

or you could cook her dinner or something on a different day even if shes having a big party.

    Make her something.

Yeah this is a great idea!! You can't beat a good old mix-tape (or CD these days), my OH made me one when we were together a few months. We used to go for dates to a pool hall and these were all songs we used to request on the jukebox. It was one of the sweetest things he's ever gotten me! You could maybe make her a CD and then buy a small gift to go with it.

Nah, tapes are still way better.

You should get her 5 golden rings, 4 calling birds, 3 French hens, 2 turtle doves and a copy of Elle magazine.
