Does it matter which office?

    Hi,

I live in the country and there is a social welfare office 6 miles away, 10 miles away and 15 miles away.

Does it matter which one I apply for the JSA at?

The reason I am asking is that I feel ashamed of going on the dole (I am just my savings have ran out) so I want to apply where noone would know me (i.e. The office 15 miles away). Will they start asking questions why I didnt apply at the nearer office or does it matter?

This may seem trivial but I would really appreciate some advice.

    Thanks in advance,

    Mike

As far as I know it has to be your 'local social welfare office' ie the one closest to the address you are living at.

Our lords and masters, the bankers, have no problem going cap in hand for 7 billion, why should you feel ashamed going for what you are owed?

    Feck them.
