Pound - Euro Parity March..?

With the Bank of England putting billions of cash into the English economy, by printing pounds. Its likely that the euro will hit parity with the pound sometime this month, also very possible that the pound/euro value will increase further than that.

I'd recommend holding off any big purchase's for the next few weeks...

    Opinions?

I was thinking it would have hit parity in January just gone, it looks like it might stay around the 90p mark for a long time.

If I was importing a car soon I would do it before this mini budget in April as VRT rates could be increased substantially on all or certain emission based cars, better safe than sorry.

When they slashed UK interest rates I thought sterling would sink too but it seems to be stuck around the 90p mark for now.

yeah but euro is dropping rates almost in synch if u look at it...so its probably evening out...the printing of money is going to have an effect

Or, if the UK government is right (not often I admit:D) and it does stimulate the UK economy, then the pound might gain against the Euro. Poker is mild compared with this.
