Marriage and sex

hi to all on here today. i have a problem that isn't going away. 'snowballing' might be an adequate term used to describe the events unfolding. my OH and I have been married for less than a year, and the sex has dropped off quite radically. not for lack of trying on my part... and if i were a man i would be getting loads of sympathies on here! there seriously is only so much rejection i can take! my weight hasn't changed, no more stresses than usual, no kids in the mix... life is the same! 'cept he doesn't want it even half as much as i do. i have taken pains with my appearance to 'entice' him or even make him notice me. no avail. i send him sexy texts, stroke his ego, explicit phone calls... most married men would die for this! (ok, i don't know that for sure) because i am feeling so completly neglected and unwanted i pick fights with him for attention. WRONG, i know, and not all the time. i just want some sort of connection. i am feeling so beat down, and un-sexy. what to do?

Stupid question, maybe. But have you asked HIM why he isnt interested?

Moved from the Ladies Lounge. Better bet here.

Rejoice in the awareness of feeling stupid, for that’s how you end up learning new things. If you’re not aware you’re stupid, you probably are.

Sit him down and ask him why is there a difference. You need to know, he needs to know you're unhappy.

Talk. Talk. And talk some more.

Honey's hit the nail on the head. Only he can tell you why he's losing interest, and if you've tried all that you said - the only option left you've not done is talk to him.
You need to explain to him how you're feeling, and see if you guys can get to the bottom of the problem.

you need to ask him what is wrong. might there be someone else on the scene? Has anything happened to him workwise etc??
