    Hi

I was wondering if any of you know of a good Christian church around the Gorey or Enniscorthy area?

I have only heard of Christian Assembly in Gorey, Enniscorthy Christian Fellowship and Christ Alive Church (Grace Fellowship) in Enniscorthy.

Does anyone know what these churches are like?, or has anyone attended these churches here? Any feedback will be welcomed thanks :)

All Ireland church directory here, I'm sure there's a cople of churches there worth visiting. Personally if you venture up to Wicklow I can recommend some sound churches, Wicklow Christian Assembly in Wicklow Town springs to mind.

Out of interest, how come you don't seem to believe (am I right here?) that catholics are christians?

I certainly don't see where you get that from the OP's post. But can we please not have this debate here and now.

    Hello

First of all the thanks for the list Keano_afc I will be sure to check it out.

no robindch, you are wrong. I never implied catholics were not christians, I just wasn't searching for a catholic,or a church of Ireland etc. church to attend.

Thanks Fanny Cradock, I do not want to have a debate here either :)

robindch, you are wrong. I never implied catholics were not christians, I just wasn't searching for a catholic, methodist, presbyterian or a church of Ireland church to attend.
Well, as two people are unsure... you asked for suggestions for a "Christian church" and since there are plenty of churches around there that self-describe as christian and are easy enough to find, it looked like you didn't want to go to one of these, and by implication, I mistakenly assumed that you didn't think that the easy-to-find-ones (catholic, protestant etc) were true "Christian churches".

Looks like I was wrong, but I'm still mystified.

I wouldn't worry yourself about it too much, Robin. Go back to plotting your evening of unholy beers. I may swing by the pub and do a walk-by baptism... and then tell you about it later!

The word "good" also featured in the sentence. Perhaps the OP is fed up of denominational differences as many Christians are, and that's fine. I'm perfectly happy in my Anglican church, but I consider all Christians to be well... Christians.

    Hi all,

I didn't realise such a simple question would be so misunderstood.

First of all, I was kinda tired that day and may have phrased my question wrong.

For the record, I DO believe all Christians are Christians, and that no church is better than the other, they are all just different.

When I say good..I meant as in a good atmosphere, singing, praising you know the usual...what I should have said was "Charismatic" perhaps?

I was looking for a non-denomational fellowship/church, because I have not veered towards one denomination or the other yet thats all.

Hope that cleared things up..now you can stop worrying :D

Don't worry, I think the Christians around here understood you perfectly. :)

    Moderator's note:
I've had to delete a couple of posts from this thread. Let's get something straight. If a Christian poster (particularly one new to this forum) asks a question on a Christianity board then they have a right to expect straightforward answers without being subjected to a quizzing by atheists.

Any non-Christian posters who cannot understand or abide by this simple kind of courtesy will be banned.

This is not debatable or up for discussion.
