Hi all, I downloaded an avi file yesterday. When I open it with real player it comes up with a really weird green screen and says it's 15 seconds long but when I open it with DivX player it's fine. The quality is perfect and the whole thing is there.

I have toast so I was trying to convert the file before burning it onto a dvd but when I drag the file into toast it goes back to being the green screen and 15 seconds long.

Does anyone have any advice on this??
I know the file is fine because I can see it using DivX player.

Handbrake. It'll burn it to DVD for you me thinks.

Ok thanks. I think it might be something wrong with the file. I downloaded something else just now to test it and that one is working fine via realplayer so it must be the file I downloaded last night.
Weird how it'll play on Divx player though. Very strange! I'll try another one and see what happens.

Download VLC player. It throws out error messages if something's up with the video.
