Favourite pubs/clubs in Monaghan?

In the last 2 years I've just been going to the Pig and the Poc every weekend - anyone have any recommendations for anywhere new for a change? As for the clubs - The Forum or Lotus? I usually head to Lotus cos it's where the older crowd usually head but I usually have more craic in the Forum!!

For pubs McKennas is the pick of them on a good night. As for clubs they're both awful. Bunch of shams in the forum most nights and Lotus is boring.
