    I'm looking for a support group to help me deal with codependency issues.Does anyone know if such groups exist at local level? Or would Al Anon help though the problem is not alcohol related?

    Yes, Alanon would help with co-dependency issues. Look through your life and what has brought you to where you are today, have you 'learned' co-dependency from a parent, if so, what caused it for them?
    I am a long standing member of Alanon and we do have more than one member for whom there hasnt been active alcoholism in their lives but they have lived with the 'ism's' of alcoholism, co-dependency being one of those ism's.
    If you do decide to go to an Alanon meeting just be upfront about why you are there, you will be made welcome.

    No problem, I have a list of meetings so if you need to know night/times of one local to you feel free to pm me - you can also phone Alanon directly (think the phones are only manned 9-2, mon-fri), to get more info - you will find the number easily with a google.
