News Website I Can Update all the time. How?

    Im working on a website for a friend...
    Its a news based website.
    But he wants to be able to update the page at any time any place as he travells alot around the world...
    Is there any way he can just log on and add to his page...
    I have all the design done its just the body..... and some sort of log in.....
    Please anyone if you can help...
    I dont mind paying for a program or something that will help me..

    Is it that you just want to be able to update the content of the page?
    Im sure there are simplier ways to do it than this...
    I had a site before that i just created a login section that only I accsessed through the url.
    So I entered www.websitename.com/loginForMe.aspx. I just had simple forms that would populate the database/page. Was quite simple to manage. The only problem would be if you had a lot of pages to update.....it might not be the best option

    See its really just a one page website....
    Where he can add to it when he wants... maybe add an image...
    Could you explain your idea a little more to me.. because it sounds just about right.....

    Blog but you might have to adjust your design to suit. Something like https://www.blogger.com/start or http://wordpress.com/

    or

    Put a CMS on top. Something like CushyCMS http://www.cushycms.com/

    You would probably want to give more details about your setup before giving a better explanation. are you using a scripting language? Are you connection to a database?

    One of the other posters said a blog, but if your friend wants a proper websie then a blog is not much use. A CMS woud be useful but for one page im not sure its worth the effort.
    Post somemore detail and will give you my ideas

    you just need a decent CMS as someone else has said.....

    there are plenty of free ones but by far the best IMO is Joomla.
