I think I really need to play Zelda: Ocarnia of Time at some stage.

Nice list, a little too mario orientated etc for me but whatever.

FF6 is only on there as a GBA game and it probably a little lower than some would expect, same for Goldeneye.

    Thoughts?

Really, Mario Kart wii??!! That is generous. Also, Zelda: Wind waker a bit too generous. Nice to see World of Goo in there!

Ocarina will take some time to get into. Like most N64 games it's dated badly and looks awful. However if you give it some time you'll get over the graphics and realise what a stunning game it is. I actually prefer Majora's Mask. Every zelda since has been a remake of Ocarina nearly but MM did something completely different. It takes a very long time to get into though.

It's really just a list of all of nintendos most popular games. There's no rarities or forgotten classics. Stuff like shatter hand, drill dozer, princess tomato in the salad kingdom etc. However it is nice to see Chibi Robo in there. It's such a brilliant, charming and unique game.

Still it's a decent list of all the really good games although there's plenty I disagree with in the positioning.

Metal Gear Twin Snakes shouldn't be there. It's good but for me not as good as the original and there's better games.

Sonic Advance as well shouldn't be there. It's a bland average platformer with horrible level design.

Kid Icarus has dated very badly and shouldn't be there.

Goldeneye in this day and age is an unplayable unsightly mess. I don't care what the rose tinted glasses brigade think. Same with perfect dark really which fell apart in the final third of the game.

Eternal Darkness I'm not so sure of. Story was great, atmosphere top notch but it was an absolute dog to play.

Banjo Kazooie :/ It's a great platformer but I think you could find better especially from the SNES and NES era.

Was never a fan of Mario 2. Without the name it would have been an average platformer. Chip n' dale take the formula and does it much better.

As for positions. Megaman 2 should be much higher. No megaman 3?

F-zero GX is probably the greatest arcade racer ever made and it's a disgrace that it's languishing at the bottom with the mario karts ahead of it.

No Fire Emblem games. That is a sin.

No earthbound or mother 3. An even bigger sin.

Chrono Trigger and FFIV on the DS and GBA? The SNES is the way to play them.

WarioWare at 78 is a disgrace.

And no mention of warioware twisted.

Is the simplest way to buy an N64?

I don't think you should judge the list based on how much pleasure said games give you now Retro. Goldeneye was amazingly fun at the time-thats whats important in my book.

I'm fecking addicted to Tetris DS here.

Can't argue with Super Mario Bros hitting the top spot :)

Well you can get it on the virtual console, on the wind waker special edition on the second disc or emulate it.

Yeah but Axelay, Super Aleste, parodius, gradius 3 and a load of other games in the same genre were a lot better.

Actually one of the games which i enjoyed the most was dragon warrior monsters on the gameboy colour, an excellent game, wouldnt mind wasting a few more weeks of my life breeding up some monsters :D
