    Army bomb disposal experts have made safe two viable devices found in separate incidents in Dublin.
    An army bomb disposal team made safe a viable improvised explosive device at Rathcoole, Co Dublin, this afternoon.
    The IED was discovered during the planned search of a house by gardaí.

    An army bomb disposal team arrived on scene at 12.15pm.
    No controlled explosion was carried out but was made safe on scene, with the all clear given at 1.30pm.
    The remains of the device have been taken away for detailed examination and are to be handed over to gardaí.

    Last night, Army bomb disposal experts made safe a viable IED found under a van in Dublin.
    The Defence Forces arrived on the scene at Cloverhill Road in Ballyfermot just after midnight.
    The army confirmed that the improvised device did contain explosive material.
    It was dismantled by bomb disposal experts and the scene was declared safe at around at 1am this morning.
