Well.. i know it sounds silly (and i am a bit ashamed of myself :o)but i have seen a lot of videos and still can't get what stupid thing i am doing wrong.

    I have these brakes:

and when i tighten everything up the right side of the brake (as you look it from behind) doesn't return in the original position if you press the lever.

Also (as i am a complete disaster..) when i was pulling the cable i removed the little cap at the end.. How are they called and how can i put one back?

    Help!

try loosening the allen bolt slightly on the right of the picture as you look at it from behind.

I tried that.. no joy! I have to also say that i have completely take it off the frame.. so does it have to do anything with the rear bolt?

And to get the cap back on, just use a pliers, depending on which one you have you want the thinnest part to "crimp" it in the middle to get a good hold on the cable!

-Also, I have that problem alot, with the brakes not centering perfectly, I usually adjust the whole brake unit so that it grips equally (or thereabouts, it will always centre under the pressure of braking)

have you taken apart the whole assembly and cleaned it? the bolt that connects it to the frame could be too tight but then i think the left would more likely go back incorrectly. after that i'm not sure what could be wrong... my calliper assembly although not the same brand seems exactly the same i took mine apart during the week polished it off dripped a small amount of oil in the joints and it went back on perfectly...
