    Hey all.

I'm looking for someone to do long weekend runs with. Ideally the person should be local to the St. Lukes/Dillons Cross/Blackpool area. I thought this would encourage us both to keep going, and to get out there on the worst days weather-wise.

I'm just easing back into running after an IT Band injury which put me out for more or less 2 months. So, at the moment, my long run is about 5 miles, but will be increasing week by week.

Also, if anyone can swim like a dolphin and is interested in showing me where I'm going wrong with my FC, it would be fantastic if you could have a look at what I'm doing wrong.

If there's anyone out there interested, give me a PM or whatever. Thanks :D

I'm happy to have a look at your swimming.

I'm just about to start a taper from running so not much use to you on that front for a while but should be starting back mid april. It might be useful if you post approximate times for other people to get an idea if they are going at your speed.

Wow, that's fantastic HM - thanks very much for the offer! I use Mayfield pool so, if that's handy, it would be great if we could arrange a day and time.

Run wise, as it's a long, slow run, I'd probably be looking at 9:00 minute miles to start off with, nothing too competitive!

I'd love to come on the Boards cycle, but as yet, I don't own a bike. I'm waiting for the Edge shop to get it in stock. Once I have it, I'll be cycling like a man possessed lol!
