We all saw the power that the student body has within the confines of rag week, obviously everyone was acting like a compleate tool, but even so we saw that the students as one unite have a fair bit of control.

how bout we use this another way, what would happen if for example the student body decided to boycot cps :eek::eek::eek: (i can hear the posers crying), what if we just said feck them, or karma, or any of the compleate rip of clubs.

why not engage in talks with the club owners, arrange better deals for students, maybe not on drinks like shot, but on pints, and admission,

I boycott CPs anyway, because their bouncers are fascists and their clientèle are ****.

Yes, because it's the club's fault...

Of course it's the clubs fault. Who do you think decides who to let in and who to kick out.

So, CPs is as bad as ever then.

the point isnt to boycot any particular pub or club, the point is that the student body is what allows all the clubs and pubs to survive, and tio make huge profits, without the students where would these pubs and clubs be during the week days.

the point is that the student body should use this power of numbers to cast some control over the clubs, instead of it being the other way around,

i used cps for example as its expensive, has the worst music, i mean you hear the top 10 songs in the charts once at bout 11.30-12 when your putting your coat in then its some techno ****, retard dj thinks hes great, oh the dance floor is full towards end of the night, it cudnt possibly be the fact that everyone is smashed of their holes and its actually just a bunch of idiots jumping, anyways, we should have some control.

and since there are so many pubs and clubs they should be competeing for our business,

I liked that fact ( when I did go out in Galway regularly, not bothered any more) because at least it kept most of the **** away from Cuba..which I can barely tolerate now.

Also, Are they still playing rubbish like The Killers on heavy roatation during 'rock' night? or have they dropped the bs and closed 'rock' night??

Here here. If you are the phantom paint bomber, let me shake your hand.

I kid,. but seriously CPs is a dump and when you're around galway long enough you'll know. Besides every girl in the place looks like some form of clone, ala Sophie from PeepShow with the personality to boot.
