Just wondering what the Legal standings on Paintball guns in Ireland. Like do you need to own a gun licence etc. Just wondering as a few of us are looking to buy guns from a dealer in the states and setup our own war games on private land, just looking for clear information on how the actually Paintball gun licences work. I heard anything more that 1 joule of energy (Like Air softs guns) are illegal and you need a fire arms licence...or have I heard wrong? Cheers

Paintball markers are firearms by law thus requiring a firearm license.
