anyone know how much a new handbrake cable would be for a 00 saxo including the fitting??
to the other poster asking about the dipstick in a saxo if it ever stops raining il measure my dipstick for yah;)

and is leaving it in gear (to stop it rolling away) bad for the car in any way?

Be about 20-30euro's you may have to buy both because I think they come as a pair and it is always best to replace both at the same time as one side would be holding better than the other side due to a new cable. Both 1-2hours to fit more than likely one hour.

Leaving a car in gear to stop it rolling back does no harm what so ever.

    Hope this helps.
