So does this mean if you have free vodafone to Vodafone calls its free?

Its costs whatever your call rate is, which varies what plan you are on.

No, you cannot use your usage minutes for any of these numbers, only to make calls to other Vodafone Ireland mobile numbers, national fixed line numbers and other national mobile networks.

Reading what's on the website I'd assume that if you have free Vodafone calls that 1890 is free. I can't believe this is correct though.

Give them a buzz and see what they say. (ring 5 times, take the average - I'm not joking).

Hmm ... wait a second... looking at that again. The free Vodafone calls is just an offer on a particular priceplan. If you don't topup by the €20/month how much are your Vodafone calls? That would be the price of the 1890 then.

Yes, but 1890 calls are always your rate price regardless of topped up. It would be €0.29 or €0.25 depending what prepay plan you are on

I think the op was gearing towards billpay, im guessing?? But even on the Perfect choice plans 1890, 1850 numbers are charged. Its part of the terms that only the type of numbers i posted earlier are included as free calls.

Vodafone Perfect Choice Terms and Conditions - condition 5
Customers may use the monthly allocation of minutes to make calls to other Vodafone Ireland mobile numbers, national fixed line numbers and other national mobile networks. The monthly allocation of minutes cannot be used to call certain numbers (including, but not limited to, international numbers, WAP, e-trieve and Vodafone mobile ISP numbers, LoCall (1890) numbers, CallSave (1850) numbers, FreeFone (1800) numbers, directory enquiry services, easi-connect and premium rate numbers). The monthly allocation of minutes cannot be used while roaming. Any unused portion of the monthly allocation of minutes cannot be carried forward to the next month.

This website is very handy if you have bundled minutes to landlines. It gives you a regular phone number equivalent for the 1890 number so you can avoid the charges!
