every time i try to watch a video on youtube it won't load up, or at best load a third of the way. the same goes if i try to watch programmes and movies online.

anyone have any idea how to fix this problem? i'm slowly losing my mind...

When you watch a video online, it is the equivalent of downloading it so therefore takes up high bandwith. I seem to have similar problems with irish broadband Ripwave product. Most of the 3g based providers are pretty lame as they share out the connection between multiple users. This is known as contention.
Try early in the morning or late at night when other users are gone to bed or change provider.
