Anyone know how too remove an Octavia antenna form the ariel base unit?

It screws off most of the way but then doesn't come off

You have probably reached a rusty bit on the threads of the base and when turning it you are actually just turning the antenna casing. Get a pair of pliers to grip the end of antenna and turn it. Will come off with a wee bit of turning with the pliers.

    Many have for me.

^^Yes, it screws out of it's threads and then needs a good pull to dislodge it from the base, keep a hold of the base and give it a good pull :P

really, do hold the base when you...ahem...yank it off. I know someone who put a little link in their roof by not doing it properly...
