Rescue/Hybrid carry distances

I have the #4 version of the burner rescue (07 model) which is 22 degrees and am really loving it, especially for the bit of winter golf I've played. I did buy it to get me out of trouble mainly but now am considering ditching the 3 iron because they are very similar. The rescue has more carry and flies a lot higher though.
If I do get rid of the 3 iron I would like a rescue that would go longer to bridge the gap between the one I currently have and my 3 wood which can be a bit of an animal and doesn't fly high and land so soft.
So I eventually get around to the question and that is "roughly what carry distances are between rescues of the same make"? Like I carry the 22 degree #4 210 yards under normal 'summer' conditions... it has a custom Fujikura banzai shaft... my 3 iron is 200 yards carry. The #3 model burner has a loft of 19 degrees in the 07 version. So how much further is it likely to carry?
Of course being Taylor Made, there are 50 newer models out since ;)

    Play the Nickent Ironwoods hybrid.
Comparing clean hit to clean hit, carries are as follows :
29* : 150-155 (not usually in the bag. 6iron instead, same distance)
    26* : 165-170
    23* : 175-180
    20* : 190

Also have the 17*, but off the fairway, normal conditions, dont hit it any further than the 20*, off a tee get 200. But guess thats down to the limit of my clubhead speed. Do carry it in the summer time on bouncy ground or links courses, where it does go longer overall, but not by carry alone. Rarely in the bag these days, happier with the 5 wood.
The hybrids fit seemlessly with my irons but then they are on the strong side (Cobra FP). Used to play Mizunos and the gap was not good. Needed the #5 hybrid and the 5 iron (or both fours, or both sixes etc depending on where I made the transition) to cover the distances.

Great thanks. I was hoping that they would have fairly similar spacing to the way irons are spaced so I could maybe expect 10+ yards more carry from the stronger #3 which would be perfect. The ping rapture I had previously went a long way (18 degree I think) on a good hit but I found it too difficult to control, probably down to the shaft?
I'll call up and cost one with the same shaft as I have in the #4

used to have a callaway 5 wood and a rescue mid4 (24) a few years back, the rescue mid was the first 'new' one out.

Was carrying the 5 wood about 215/220 and the 24 205ish. 4iron goes 195-200 or so. Dropped both rescue and 5 wood and replaced with first a callaway heavenwood3 21 with steel shaft ~210 and now a fusion3 with a alida NVS hybrid. It carries about 215/220.

So still have a bit of a gap from 4 iron to hybrid and hybrid goes the same as the original 5 wood but is easier to control and easier to hit from the rough imo. I also find it reasonably easy to cut it to drop 5-10 yards off the carry.

I'd imagine you'll see about 3 yards/degree assuming the shaft gets 0.5" longer also?

Yeah I have gripped down on it a little and played a smooth swing which took maybe 15 yards off when playing a par 3 and if I tried that with a long iron the ball would scutter along the ground in front of me... very versatile club which is why I am thinking about shopping even though I swore to myself I wouldn't buy anything this year!

I ordered a #3 19* burner with the same custom Fujikura Banzai stiff flex shaft and should have it late next week. When I get to compare the carry distances of both together I will post up the results here.

I bought a #4 Taylormade recently and have only been out once but I loved it.

I'd like to try the #3 also and then see if I can drop my 3 and 4 iron and maybe even my 5 wood.
