    Hi everyone.

I've an interview at BIP next Monday, and as I don't drive I need to figure out the easiest way to get there.

I'm travelling from Clane, Co. Kildare, so there's the option of bus eireann into town and 38b out to BIP. the other option is to get a lift to maynooth, train to ashtown and catch the 38b from there.

does anyone know how far the 38b bus stop in ashtown is from the train station?

    any other options/suggestions welcome

    many thanks :)

5 mins from Ashtown staton, maybe 10 if you're walking slow to the bus stop opposite the Halfway House on the Navan Road.

You might be better getting off at Phoenix Park station and walking across the bridge to the stop by the Esso (but you'll have to judge the distances yourself on Google Maps).

The Dublin Bus website also suggests the bus goes through Castleknock. If this is the village then it will head up past Castleknock station through Blanchardstown - then you can get the train to Castleknock station and get on the bus right outside that.

    38b timetable here
    http://www.dublinbus.ie/en/Your-Journey1/Timetables/All-Timetables/38b-c/

    on the left
    Buses leave terminus at
    Route Variations

b Route 38b -via Castleknock to and from Institute of Technolgy Blanchardstown (College term only)

Reading it again and looking at the bottom of the page maybe this isn't a regular service .. and it does mention college term only.

Ashtown / Phoenix Park seems to be much of a much ness. Ashtown probably a bit easier.

AND there's the option of getting the train to Castleknock and getting the UrBus to the business park!

UrBus it's a bit more regular than the 38B

OP - if you can work out the UrBus times etc I'd definitely suggest Castleknock rather than the other stations. The bus stop is about 2 mins walk from it MAX.
