It is now 10 weeks since the NBS contract was signed. Within this 10 week period has anybody seen any planning application for any of these super duper 160 masts which are going to be erected ?
Because 3 is basically an English compny they obviously think that getting planning permission in rural Ireland will be a doddle as the thick Paddies have never even heard of, much less read, The Stewart Report.

They can in many cases use existing masts. Some might even have O2, Vodaphone or Meteor on them.

So eventually there will be a choice of four 3G/HSPA Mobile "Broadband" providers in NBS areas. :)
