Need Router user & pass (NTL)

    Is there anyway i can get the user and pass for my router without calling NTL? I don't fancy spending an hour on hold.

    If its a netgear its usually http://192.168.0.1 or http://192.168.1.1 and the user and pass respectively are admin and password. If they dont work you can reset it by using the pinhole at the back.

    And all this stuff is available on the netgear site.

    The Scientific Atlanta (cisco) modems are well locked down and can only really be updated with the DOCSIS MIBS file generated by UPC.

    As Dub45 says though, if it's the netgear cable router then as above...
