P45 at y/e?

    Quick question,

    Employee leaving at 31/12/08. How do i treat this. I dont think i need to issue a p45as next employment is in new tax yr. do i just notify the revenue of ee leaving?

    To my knowledge you must issue a p45 no matter what and p60 if they were employed 31/12

    Still need a P45.

    It has all the details the next employer needs, regardless if it happens to be a new tax year or not.
