did someone spike my boyfriends drink?

hello..me and my boyfriend went out last weekend,we had about 5 beers,thats it..the longer the night went the more messed up he got.there was a guy there that made a comment about me,my boyfriend got mad at the guy and we left,to go home..on ar eway home he kept saying stuff that didnt make since.like talking out of his head,we get home he runs inthe house grabs the gun and says he going to kill his self im tryn to calm him down the guy followed us home jumps out of the truck and runs at my b/f...they are fighting over the gun..my b/f is tryn to kill his self..the gun goes off...luckly no one was hurt....the other guy knocks him to the grown and starts beating the crap out of him...he is so out of it he cant fight back... the law gets there...my b/f is just going crazy..i have never seen him act like that....not after 5 beers!!..it's like it was another person there...it really scared me....the police take him to the hospital..he has a broken nose..the guy really messed him up.....when we was at the bar there was a guy there that we know ,,,he kept asking me if we wanted any Valium.....i told him no....ther more i think about it,im wondering if the guy slipped one in his drink....because my b/f doesnt remember anything about that night...he doesnt remember leaving the bar.....when he was at the hospital the drug tested him and found nothing...would valium show up?now the police have his gun and they are going to destroy it...could he go to the hospital and ask them if they tested him for valium?

Valium relaxes you, wouldn't cause that.

Could he go and ask? Certainly. They might not do it, but the only way to find out is to go and ask. But I'm not sure Valium would cause that effect.

Yes it was spiked, with alcohol.

Five drinks is two and a half litres of alcohol. ALcohol can affect you in different ways depending how tired you are and what else is in your system.

that was not alcohol,it was defo spiked.Id hazard a guess at rohypnol or 'the date rape drug'.Same thing happened to a girl firend of mine a while back only she was lucky enough get home before she passed out.
the symptoms sound the same and id be fairly sure it was the guy that followed you's.Sounds like he wanted your BF out of the way so he could have his wicked way with you.

By the way where are you from sounds like an episode of cops in Kentucky or something 'Boss hog jumps outta da truck and beats your BF who has a gun??' i assume hes a member of a gun club ?!!

Valium and rohypnol are both sedatives - they wouldn't provoke that type of reaction.

Look at the stories regarding rohypnol 'woman gets spiked,has very vague memoies' if anything at all.Im not an expert but the reported stories seem to link the exact same symptoms to that of rohypnol.
