Yep, I'm definitely getting my application in tonight before the waiting lists get any longer.

Sometimes I wonder why they can't just find a method that works, and stick with it. It seems to me like they just found a temporary solution, brought the numbers down and then back to running it the way they were before?

That's just what it seems like to me though, I obviously don't know the ins and outs.

As soon as it was announced that SGS were letting most of their testers go before xmas, we predicted that waiting lists would rise in the new year. Can you image what it would be like if the Gardai started clamping down on L drivers, we'd be back to pre 2008 levels.
The sad thing is that it was more cost effective for the Gov. to outsource tests to SGS than it is to employ RSA testers, but sure when it comes to saving money and being efficient it's hardly surprising that they make the wrong decision.
